Why do FileBound workflow emails always come from "DoNotReply@FileBound.com"?

In FileBound Cloud environments, all emails sent from workflows will always use DoNotReply@FileBound.com as the “From” address. This behavior occurs regardless of the email address specified in the workflow configuration or entered manually within an email step.

At this time, the “From” address for workflow-generated emails in FileBound Cloud cannot be changed.

This limitation is intentional and exists to protect FileBound’s email infrastructure. Allowing workflow emails to be sent from arbitrary or customer-defined email addresses would result in email spoofing, which could trigger phishing alerts and cause FileBound’s mail servers to be flagged or blocked by email providers.

While the “From” address cannot be customized, you may still be able to control other aspects of the email, such as the reply-to address, subject line, and message content, depending on your workflow configuration.
